Features: Inspired by Chris Martin's visit to the Gamble House in Pasadena California, an Arts & Crafts Period architectural masterpiece. - D size body of beautiful flame mahogany and highly figured bearclaw spruce. Rosewood is used for the body binding and for 3 bowtie insets along the center back seam and small square insets on the body on either side of the heel. In addition to the woods, the most striking feature is the pearl inlay. Both peghead and fingerboard have a thin border of gold mother of pearl embellished with a twist at each corner. Position inlays are gold pearl gingko leaves and a gingko leaf appears on the peghead along with the C F Martin block letter logo. Other appointments include scalloped top braces (5/16" thick), bold herringbone top trim, 3-ring rosette with bold herringbone center ring, ebony pyramid Stauffer bridge with ebony bridgepins, brown "leatherlam" pickguard (made of leather fibers). Low profile neck with ebony fretboard (1-11/16" nut, 25.4" scale), antique gold finish enclosed gears. Inside label signed by C.F. Martin IV and numbered in sequence with total - only 100 will be made. Leather covered Geib style case with antique gold hardware. Full gloss finish including neck, aging toner on top, bone nut & saddle.
