The Fender Sonoran SCE acoustic guitar represents a re-introduction of the California Series acoustics. These guitars were originally made from 1969 to 1971 and have gained attention in recent years for their very electric-like V-neck playability and cool vibe thanks to a Strat-style headstock. The Sonoran SCE has those features plus an updated cutaway dreadnought body with solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and Fender CE-301 Active On-Board Preamp. It also has a checkerboard soundhole rosette, the original rosewood bridge design, and chrome die-cast tuners.
