Are prices negotiable?
We're proud to offer a large selection of instruments and accessories already well under retail prices. All products sold via our website are offered at the given price only. Large purchases are best made by contacting us via phone or visiting the store, as some prices may then be negotiated.
Will you buy my used instrument?
Depending on the model and condition of the instrument offered, and what we already have in stock, we do sometimes buy used instruments. We also offer a consignment service to sell your instrument for you. To make inquiries on these options, contact us via phone or visit the store.
Will you take my used instrument as a trade-in?
Depending on the model and condition of the instrument offered, we will often take trade-ins off the list price for a customer who wishes to make a significant upgrade. However, more often than not, we can offer you a better deal without the trade. Customers interested in trading a used instrument must contact us via phone or visit the store.
If my fretted instrument doesn't play well, what can be done about it?
Often this is simply a matter of having your instrument set up. Our technicians will look at your instrument and determine if the action (distance from the fretboard to the string) is too high or too low, and adjust it accordingly. If the strings are too high, the instrument will be hard to play. If the strings are too low, the instrument will buzz uncontrollably on certain notes. Sometimes these problems are more complex, because of a bowed neck or a bad fret, but whatever the case may be, we'll have your instrument playing like new in no time. To inquire about other technical issues with your instrument or to have your fretted instrument repaired, contact us via phone or bring your instrument to the store and ask for a set up.
