Vintage 1970's Iida Model 240 Versa-Tone 5-String Banjo Tobacco Sunburst w/ OHSC

This Vintage 1970's Iida Model 240 Versa-Tone 5-String Banjo is in excellent condition. It shows some light wear from normal play on the head but is otherwise free from any large dings, dents, scratches, or signs of heavy play. As with many of these Iida's, the the clearcoat on the headstock began to breakdown over time. The previous owner went ahead and took off the remaining clearcoat to avoid an ongoing mess leaving the inlay work and veneered headplate exposed. Not anything that affects the sound or playability, but certainly something cosmetic of note. This banjo has been professionally set up and plays great! The neck is straight, the action is low and comfortable, and the frets are in excellent condition. This guitar will come complete with the original Brown Tolex Hardshell Case that is in excellent condition.
