This 2023 Larrivee OO-40R Custom Concert features a few custom specs that sets this one apart from the rest including an enlarged soundhole for enhanced volume projection and a focus on the low end of the tonal spectrum as well as gorgeous flamed maple body and fretboard binding that is sure to turn some heads! This guitar is incredibly versatile and has a complex tone whether fingerpicking for flatpicking. It is very balanced and has incredible projection despite its smaller frame. The revolutionary new 40 Series features our "Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid" bracing design. We blended a non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing pattern with our tried and true balanced X-Brace system. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It's a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response. Like all Larrivée's, the 40 Series are built in America using only all solid wood and feature brand new upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners.
