Vintage 1970's Gibson RB-800 5-String Banjo Curly Maple Cherry Sunburst w/ Case

This Vintage 1970's Gibson RB-800 Mastertone Banjo is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for by its previous owner and has some very nice upgrades including the addition of Keith Tuners, a fantastic sounding Huber Tone Ring, and a custom-made Frank Neat Maple Rim. This banjo is in clean condition although there are a few scuffs and some moderate tarnishing on the gold-plated hardware (see pictures). There are railroad spikes installed on the 7th and 9th Frets. This banjo has been professionally set up and plays great! The neck is straight, the action is low and comfortable, and the frets are in excellent condition. This banjo will come complete with a very nice non-original TKL hardshell case as pictured. Awesome deal on a fantastic playing and sounding 1970's Gibson RB-800 Mastertone!
